"Approximately 9% of active U.S. Steam users played Helldivers 2 in April - no other extraction shooter surpassed 2.3% player penetration," he explains.

"Guitar Hero revolutionized music games; Halo defined console FPS; WoW transformed MMOs. Could Marathon do the same? The market offers no guarantees."
