The road from page to screen for "Daredevil: Born Again" was paved with revisions, but only one episode emerged completely unchanged: Episode 5, which, ironically, is star Charlie Cox's personal least favorite of the season.

"I don't know if this is interesting, but I will say that among all the changes, there was one episode we left entirely as it was," Cox revealed in a recent interview with The Playlist. "It's the bank episode, which was part of our original shoot before the strike. That was from the initial draft, and for my money, I just wasn't into it."

Cox told the outlet that he "pushed back against it as much as I felt was possible." The episode finds his character, Matt Murdock, caught in a bank robbery while trying to secure a loan for the law firm he runs with partners Foggy Nelson and Karen Page.

"That feels like a 1970s game," Cox shared about his initial reaction. "There's too much modern technology for that to work now. I also didn't think the method used for the theft was sufficiently sophisticated."

Despite his personal reservations, the actor conceded that fans responded very positively to the episode.

"I really pushed back on that episode, and yet I keep hearing from so many people that they love it. It just shows you never really know. It's so subjective," Cox added. "Everyone's taste is different. I've heard it's one of the highest-rated episodes internally; it's among the top-rated Disney+ shows they've had."

We certainly loved Episode 5. In our review of "Daredevil: Born Again" Episodes 5 and 6, we said: "It's all executed so well. I can't recall the last time a Marvel show had me smiling so much from start to finish, completely captivated. This episode also accomplishes something crucial, especially given the limited Daredevil action thus far: it demonstrates what makes Matt Murdock a uniquely compelling hero, even out of costume."
