Roblox developer Kitawari has unveiled the Anime Vanguards Winter Update 3.0, introducing significant enhancements to the tower-defense game's unit roster, lobby, and various quality-of-life improvements. This latest update promises to keep the holiday spirit alive with a slew of winter-themed additions designed to engage players for weeks to come.

Upon logging in, players will immediately notice the revamped lobby, which now offers more space and a refreshed user interface (UI). The new lobby is designed to be 10 times more impressive than its predecessor, complete with a customizable Day and Night cycle accessible through the settings. "We heard your issues with our current lobby; it was too small and cramped, and we were running out of places to put new game modes," Kitawari explained in the Winter Update 3.0 patch notes.

One of the standout features of Winter Update 3.0 is the introduction of the new Portals game mode. Kitawari encourages players to use winter units and skins to boost team damage and unlock additional rewards. Additionally, the update introduces Sandbox Mode, allowing players to experiment with new strategies without limitations. Players can look forward to collecting 12 new units available across the Winter Banner, Portals game mode, battle pass, and new leaderboard rewards.

The update also brings numerous quality-of-life improvements, such as smoother unit placement, Evolution Quests now appearing in a dedicated tab, and search bars for skins and familiars. Units now clearly highlight the enemies they are targeting, enhancing gameplay clarity. Anime Vanguards players can dive into all the new features and enhancements of Winter Update 3.0 immediately.

The health system has shifted to base stocks, with 3 stocks per stage. An enemy reaching the base deducts one stock, and losing all stocks results in a match loss. Bosses deplete all stocks upon reaching the base.
