Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter, a fresh roguelike card battler, has launched globally on Android. Crafted by Kazuma Kaneko, renowned for his surreal worlds and iconic demon designs in Shin Megami Tensei and Persona, this game delivers a unique experience.

This innovative roguelike blends dungeon crawling with a tailored AI-driven system. Developed by Japanese studio COLOPL, the game reflects Kaneko’s signature style, with him leading the project since joining the team in 2023.

Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter Features Custom AI Models

In the game, an artificial deity monitors your choices, creating personalized cards based on your actions. The development team built a proprietary AI model, AI Kaneko, trained by Kaneko himself, to power the Okami System.

This system introduces a false god, Okami, who tracks your gameplay and decisions during dungeon exploration. Okami generates unique cards in real time, tailored to your playstyle.

Set in The Hashira, a towering complex in Tokyo’s bayside, the game takes place in a once-advanced structure now sealed and overrun with monsters.

Your goal is to ascend the tower and defeat Noriko Tomi, the construction company president behind The Hashira. As the target of Tsukuyomi, an elite defense unit, she aims to destabilize the state using hidden jujutsu traps.

Meet the Two New Characters

Play as Izayoi Tsukuyomi or Shingetsu Tsukuyomi. Izayoi focuses on a balanced approach, enhancing attack and defense with upgraded cards like Seiryu, Finn MacCool, Mormo, and Watanabe Tsuna.

Shingetsu emphasizes chain attacks for intricate strategies, using Jinma cards such as Mach, Kirin, Kato Danzou, and Suzuka Gozen. Two additional characters, Mangetsu and Hangetsu, will be added in future updates.
