The PC version of Stellar Blade is set to launch on Steam on June 11, bringing with it a host of PC-specific enhancements, as revealed by a trailer that Sony accidentally leaked on the PlayStation YouTube channel. Although the trailer was quickly removed, it was captured and shared across the internet, and we anticipate an official release soon.

Alongside the PC release, a Complete Edition of Shift Up’s acclaimed PS5 action game was also announced. This edition will include the base game along with all the DLC released to date for both PS5 and PC platforms. This news arrives more than a year after Stellar Blade's successful launch on PS5 in April 2024.

Stellar Blade on PC will come equipped with all the features gamers expect, including AI upscaling via Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3, an unlocked framerate, Japanese and Chinese voiceover options, ultrawide display support, higher resolution environment textures, and DualSense support for enhanced haptic feedback and trigger effects.

The trailer also unveiled a new boss battle against Mann, the Leader of the Sentinels, and introduced 25 new costumes, which are expected to be available on PS5 as well. A particularly intriguing moment at the trailer's end shows Eve releasing a memory stick—a scene not found in the original game, sparking speculation about a new ending or additional DLC.

The trailer confirms the release of the Stellar Blade Complete Edition on both PC and PS5. Stellar Blade proved to be a significant success for Korean developer Shift Up, generating $43 million in royalties during its last financial year. The studio anticipates that the PC version will surpass the sales of the PS5 edition, which sold over a million copies in just two months. Shift Up has expressed interest in developing another game within the franchise.

In Stellar Blade, players assume the role of Eve, engaging in fast-paced action role-playing combat to reclaim Earth from mysterious invaders. The game received a 7/10 from IGN, praised for its action elements but critiqued for its characters, storyline, and certain RPG mechanics. Despite these critiques, Stellar Blade quickly became a hit, selling a million copies soon after its release.

"Stellar Blade excels in the core aspects of an action game, yet it falls short due to uninspiring characters, a lackluster narrative, and some frustrating RPG elements, preventing it from reaching the pinnacle of its genre," according to our review.
