Mariah Carey has arrived in Fortnite, launching the 2024 Winterfest event! To complete the Wintervestigation Quests, you'll need to find SGT. Winter. Here's how:

SGT. Winter's Location in Fortnite Chapter 6

The initial Wintervestigation Quest sends you to SGT. Winter. These quests involve teaming up with Noir to uncover clues and locate new NPCs.

The quest tracker will pinpoint SGT. Winter's location—near a plane crash atop a snowy mountain, east of Warrior's Watch and south of Foxy Floodgate. It's close to Mariah Carey's in-game performance area.

Talking to SGT. Winter

SGT. Winter is an NPC near the plane wreckage, marked by a speech bubble icon. Interact with him; you can buy items (Holo Twister Assault Rifle, Blizzard Grenade) or start a conversation.

Select the magnifying glass icon to begin the Wintervestigation dialogue. He'll give you a new mission, directing you to Noir in Seaport City. Completing the dialogue rewards you with 25,000 XP.

Surviving and Looting at SGT. Winter's Location

Reaching SGT. Winter can be tricky, as it's a popular drop zone. Consider waiting a few days for the crowds to thin. Alternatively, utilize the area's cover and chests. Landing early and securing nearby loot is key. The plane wreckage provides excellent cover, and many players may only have pickaxes initially.
