Released in March 2023, the Sony Bravia XR X93L was the second highest-end non-OLED TV in Sony's lineup at the time, just behind the X95L, which was only available in an 85" screen size in the United States. The X93L features Mini LED technology, renowned for its superior performance with HDR content. Mini LED technology utilizes smaller and more numerous LEDs, allowing for more precise control over brightness levels and enhancing black levels and contrast ratio within the same scene.

The X93L is also an excellent choice for gamers. It comes equipped with four HDMI ports, two of which are HDMI 2.1, supporting 4K output at up to 120Hz refresh rate. This makes it perfect for current-generation consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. While the new Switch 2 will be limited to 60fps in 4K when docked, it does not require HDMI 2.1.
