Pokémon TCG Pocket’s highly anticipated trading feature has finally arrived, launching alongside the exciting new Space-Time Smackdown expansion! This is great news for dedicated players as January winds down.

Trading works much like real-life card trading, allowing you to exchange cards with friends. While there are some limitations—only certain rarities (1-4 and 1-star) are tradeable, and resources like trade hourglasses and tokens are required—it's a significant addition to the game.

But the trading feature isn't the only exciting news! The Space-Time Smackdown expansion introduces iconic Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia, along with the beloved Sinnoh region starters Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup, and much more!

The reception to the new trading feature, however, has been somewhat mixed. While the feature itself is well-implemented, the numerous restrictions and resource requirements have been a point of contention for many players. Some argue that a more streamlined, less restrictive trading system would have been preferable. However, developers are reportedly monitoring player feedback and may implement changes in the future.
