We're back with another update on Ubisoft. While upper management navigates ongoing challenges, there's some positive news: a long-standing compatibility issue has been resolved.

Ubisoft has finally addressed compatibility problems between several Assassin's Creed titles and the Windows 11 24H2 update. Since at least Fall 2024, Assassin's Creed Origins, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and other Ubisoft games malfunctioned on the new OS. The solution? Fresh patches, announced on the Steam pages for Origins and Valhalla.

Player comments express relief, with praise for Ubisoft's fix—a welcome change from previous criticisms, as this issue stemmed from Windows, not the game developer. While gratitude is widespread, both games still maintain "Mixed" reviews overall.

There's cautious optimism regarding Assassin's Creed Shadows, recently delayed until March 20th. Ubisoft aims to enhance its quality before launch, recognizing its significance to the company's future.
