Attention all Death Stranding fans! Brace yourselves for an exciting update: the sequel, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, is slated to hit the shelves in June. In a recent interview with IGN, the franchise's star, actor Norman Reedus, shared some tantalizing details about the upcoming game and dropped a hint about the future film adaptation.

When quizzed about the possibility of playing himself in the film version, which was announced last month to be in development with Michael Sarnoski and A24, Reedus responded enthusiastically, "If it was an option, yeah, for sure. I don’t know what’s happening with it. It’s so pre pre pre right now. But yeah, of course."

During the interview, Reedus also touched on his initial confusion with the first game and whether he felt the same way about the sequel. He expressed a deep trust in the game's creator, Hideo Kojima, saying, "As far as working with him and understanding where his head’s at, I don’t think anybody can understand where his head’s at. He’s just that guy, he’s out there and he’s got great ideas. But story-wise, I did know what was happening more. There’s more action in it, there’s more of a definite goal to get to."

No matter the twists and turns in the Death Stranding universe, Reedus remains enthusiastic about his involvement. "It’s always a trip working on those things," he remarked to IGN. "It’s great, but it’s wild."
