Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Adds Hardcore Mode
Warhorse Studios is putting the finishing touches on a hardcore difficulty mode for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. The developers recently announced on Discord that a select group of 100 volunteer testers are currently putting the mode through its paces. Recruitment has now closed, signaling the final stages of development are underway.
While specifics remain under wraps, expect a challenge reminiscent of the first game's brutal hardcore mode. Kingdom Come: Deliverance's hardcore mode famously limited saves, boosted enemy damage, complicated navigation, slashed gold rewards, and introduced punishing negative perks. Deliverance 2's version will likely build upon and expand these mechanics for an even more unforgiving experience.
Testers are bound by strict NDAs, preventing the sharing of screenshots or videos. However, their involvement suggests an official announcement with details is imminent. This hardcore mode will arrive as a free update, ensuring all players can experience the heightened challenge.
