Refusing Sargamis the splinter sets you up for a confrontation. He becomes an optional boss fight, a challenging early-game encounter. He summons spirit creatures and utilizes swift, powerful sword attacks. However, he's vulnerable to ice spells, making them a valuable tool in this fight. Defeating Sargamis rewards you with the Last Light of Day mace, a unique weapon with health regeneration and fire damage bonuses.

What Happens If You Give the Splinter of Eothas to Sargamis in *Avowed*?

Agreeing to give Sargamis the splinter presents several paths. You can persuade him to place himself in the statue, resulting in his death and yielding the Last Light of Day mace. Alternatively, you can offer yourself to the statue, leading to another branching decision.
