EA Motive and SEED will unveil their groundbreaking "Texture Sets" technology at the Game Developers Conference (GDC), showcasing its application in titles like Dead Space and the highly anticipated Iron Man game. This innovative approach merges related texture sets into single resources, streamlining processing and enabling the creation of richer, more detailed textures. EA's lead technical artist, Martin Palko, will lead the presentation, delving into the intricacies of this advanced texturing process.

The GDC presentation offers a tantalizing glimpse of potential Iron Man gameplay or new details. Announced in 2022, the game has remained shrouded in secrecy, fueling speculation of cancellation. However, EA Motive's GDC participation confirms ongoing development. The conference runs from March 17th to 21st, 2025.
Currently, Iron Man is confirmed as a single-player RPG featuring an open world and built using Unreal Engine 5. EA Motive is expected to leverage its experience with Anthem's flight system in the new title.
