Nvidia Unveils RTX 50 Series GPUs with DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation at CES 2025

Nvidia's CES 2025 keynote showcased the upcoming RTX 50 series GPUs, codenamed Blackwell, featuring groundbreaking DLSS 4 technology with Multi-Frame Generation. This new feature promises significant FPS boosts, with initial support confirmed for 75 games and applications. While initially exclusive to the RTX 50 series, some DLSS 4 enhancements will eventually be available to older RTX 40 series cards via driver updates.

The RTX 50 series boasts impressive specifications, with the flagship RTX 5090 (32GB GDDR7) starting at $1,999. Other models include the RTX 5080 ($999), RTX 5070 Ti ($749), and RTX 5070 ($549). The performance gains are substantial; Nvidia demonstrated a frame rate increase from under 30 FPS to 236 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 with DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation enabled on the RTX 5090 (full ray tracing enabled).
