Character Respeccing in Avowed

Choosing the right character build at the start can be tricky. If your current build isn't working for you, respeccing allows you to adjust. This is particularly useful in Avowed, where experimentation is key to finding your ideal playstyle. Later in the game, respeccing can optimize your combat effectiveness.

Respeccing Abilities

To reset your ability points, open the menu, go to the "Abilities" section, and locate the "Reset Points" option near the bottom. The initial cost is 100 Copper Skeyt, increasing with game progression. Confirm the reset to redistribute your points across all skill trees, excluding the unchangeable "Godlike" abilities (obtained through in-game choices).

Respeccing Attributes

If you're satisfied with your abilities but want to adjust your attributes, or make comprehensive changes, navigate to the "Character" section of the menu. At the bottom, below the attribute list, you'll find a button to reset your attribute points. The initial cost is also 100 Copper Skeyt, escalating over time. Pay the cost to reclaim your attribute points.

Respeccing Your Companion

To respec your companion, open the menu, go to "Abilities," and select the "Companions" tab. Under your companion's name, you'll see a button to reset their points for a Copper Skeyt cost. Remember, each companion requires individual respeccing.
