This job description has fueled speculation about a potential return to the Batman franchise, the series that propelled Rocksteady to fame. The Batman: Arkham series closely aligns with the listed requirements, unlike Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which emphasized ranged combat over close-quarters fighting.

As the hiring process is still in its early stages, the game is likely in the conceptual phase. Industry expert Jason Schreier suggests that, should Rocksteady develop a new single-player Batman title, it won't launch for several years.
