Where to Find the Lost Galaxy Portals in Astro Bot

Throughout your Astro Bot journey, keep an eye out for a unique swirly icon next to the stage selection. This symbol indicates a hidden portal to the Lost Galaxy within that level. These portals can be tucked away early on, or even at the very end, so stay alert! This guide will pinpoint the exact location of each portal and how to access them.

Hidden Portal #1: Az-Tech Trail

Midway through the level, you'll encounter a dark room with a wall flanked by four lit torches. Use the Twin-Frog Gloves to extinguish all four flames. The wall will then open, revealing the portal.

Hidden Portal #2: Creamy Canyon

Early in the level, you'll find a snowy arena with a bouncing ladybug enemy. Proceed past it to a charging pig. Grab the pig, swing it, and aim for the icy statue at the platform's edge. Releasing the pig will shatter the statue. Backtrack, flip over the ladybug, bounce to the higher platform, and perform a charged spin attack to uncover the portal.

Hidden Portal #3: Go-Go Archipelago

After defeating Captain Pincher, turn around to where his claw is embedded in the ground. A glowing light signals the spot for a charged spin attack. Drill into the ground to reveal a hidden room containing treasure and the portal.

Hidden Portal #4: Downsize Surprise

Near the level's end, you'll find a bubble-blowing frog. Blow into your controller to activate the bubbles. Shrink down, hop on a bubble, and ride it to a branch above a bot (you might need to switch bubbles). From there, navigate to the opposite branch to find the portal.

Hidden Portal #5: Free Big Brother!

This is perhaps the easiest portal to locate. At the level's start, turn around to find platforms with an electric enemy. Lure it to electrocute the platforms, revealing the portal behind.

Hidden Portal #6: Bathhouse Battle

Find the house with a flaming chimney. After absorbing water, climb to the roof and extinguish the flames. Descend the chimney to discover the portal.

Hidden Portal #7: Hieroglyph Pyramid

At the level's end, turn right to an area with falling jewels. A bounce pad leads to a hidden portal. You'll trigger a trap; find the hidden switches in the walls to open the path.

Hidden Portal #8: Balloon Breeze

This is the most challenging portal. Obtain the pufferfish power-up and backtrack to an area with a distant platform and a bouncing ladybug. Flip the ladybug towards the platform, activate the pufferfish, and use Astro's hover to reach it. Use motion controls to clear bamboo around the portal and activate it by circling it.

Hidden Portal #9: Djinny of the Lamp

After defeating Djinny, climb the ruins. Invisible platforms are indicated by glowing ground. Hover to each platform, then ride an unfurling rug to the final platform and the portal.

Hidden Portal #10: Frozen Meal

Before the boss fight, roll a snowball into a large ball and use it as a platform to reach the cliffside and the final portal.
