Big news for fans of the Now You See Me series: the third installment, officially titled Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, is set to hit theaters on November 14, 2025, and there's more excitement on the horizon with Now You See Me 4 already in development.

The announcement was made by Adam Fogelson, chair of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, at CinemaCon, confirming that the release date for Now You See Me: Now You Don’t remains unchanged.

Director Ruben Fleischer, who has been tapped to helm both the third and fourth films, is bringing his unique vision to the action-heist franchise, which has already amassed $700 million at the global box office. Fleischer, known for his work on Zombieland, Uncharted, and Venom, will reunite with Now You See Me stars Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson, along with new additions Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, Ariana Greenblatt, and Rosamund Pike for the third film.

Bobby Cohen, the original developer and producer of the series, will return to produce Now You See Me: Now You Don’t alongside Alex Kurtzman of Secret Hideout, with Meredith Wieck overseeing the project for Lionsgate.

Fogelson praised Fleischer's work on the third film, saying, "Ruben has delivered all of the twists and turns and sleight-of-hand that audiences expect from this franchise while upping the stakes and scale in every way. We can’t wait for audiences to discover what he’s done with the third film and are thrilled he’ll be making even more magic with us."

Fleischer himself expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Directing Now You See Me: Now You Don’t was as much fun as making any movie in my career. It combines two of my favorite things — heist movies and magic — and working with this incredible cast was truly magical. Of course, I want to keep it going."

IGN's review of the original Now You See Me gave it a 6.3/10, noting that it "seemed so promising, but it squanders its cool cast and nifty premise on smarmy, shallow characters and a flimsy, nonsensical plot." The sequel, Now You See Me 2, received a 6.2, with IGN stating it "isn't the worst magic act in town, but it's all flash and no substance."

With the franchise's continued development and the promise of more thrilling heists and magical twists, fans can look forward to an exciting future for the Now You See Me series.
