For those eager to dive into the action right away, there's a special Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle available at a suggested retail price of $499.99 in the United States. This bundle includes the system along with a download code for the much-anticipated Mario Kart World game, ready for you on launch day. If you're more inclined to buy Mario Kart World separately, be prepared for a price of $79.99.

You can register your interest now with Nintendo to get notified about preorders for the Nintendo Switch 2 and its accessories directly from the My Nintendo Store. Invitations to purchase will be sent out via email on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to users who have a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership and have logged at least 50 gameplay hours as of April 2, 2025.

After priority users receive their invites, the remaining eligible registrants will be considered. Keep in mind that these invitations are non-transferable and valid for 72 hours. You're allowed to purchase one system and one of each accessory per account. Major retailers are also expected to open preorders on April 9, 2025.
