Changing Appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds (Hunter and Palico)

Monster Hunter Wilds offers a robust character creator that lets you craft an avatar that can closely resemble your real-life appearance. If you find yourself wanting to tweak your character's look later in the game, it's quite straightforward. Once you've unlocked the base camp, head to your tent and navigate to the Appearance Menu by pressing L1 or R1. Select the Change Appearance option, and you'll regain access to the character creator, allowing you to adjust both your Hunter and Palico's appearance.
How to Change Outfits and Use Layered Armor

The Layered Armor feature, which becomes available right from the start of Monster Hunter Wilds, allows for extensive outfit customization. To access this, head to your tent, enter the Appearance Menu, and select Equipment Appearance. Here, you can customize your Hunter's outfit to your liking, though you'll be limited to the Layered Armor items you've unlocked. Remember, you can't use this feature to transmog your equipped armor with other armor types you've forged.
Similarly, there's an option for Palico Equipment Appearance, enabling you to apply Layered Armor items to your Palico.
If the Layered Armor options don't appeal to you, the alternative is to forge and equip new armor. Keep in mind, though, that each piece of equipment has different stats, so balance aesthetics with performance.
Seikret Customization
The Appearance Menu also includes Seikret Customization, allowing you to alter the Seikret's skin and feather color, as well as tweak its pattern, decoration type, and eye color.
That's the rundown on changing your outfits and appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. For more tips and detailed information on the game, be sure to visit The Escapist.
