Genshin Impact's much-anticipated Version 5.5 update, "Day of the Flame's Return," is set to launch on March 26th, bringing a fiery new chapter to the Natlan region. This update promises an intense blend of story progression and exciting gameplay enhancements.

One of the major updates in Version 5.5 is the long-awaited controller support for Android devices. If you're eager to learn which controllers will be compatible, you can find all the details in the official announcement.

What Does Genshin Impact Version 5.5 Have in Store?

Prepare to explore the southwestern part of Natlan, where you'll encounter a new tribe, a massive volcano, and fresh characters. The Great Volcano of Tollan holds ancient secrets and a sacred city that has been dormant for ages. As magma stirs beneath the surface, your mission is to uncover the truth behind the "Flamelord's Blessing" and the mystery of the Little One. You'll also meet the Collective of Plenty, a tribe that celebrates strength and fitness as a way of life.

Two new characters will join the roster in this update: Varesa, a 5-star Electro Catalyst user, and Iansan, a 4-star Electro Polearm wielder. Varesa can restore Phlogiston after consuming food, offering unique support outside of combat. Iansan, one of Natlan's six heroes, combines offense with support abilities, gaining the Warming Up effect to provide continuous healing when a teammate triggers a Nightsoul Burst.

In the first phase of Version 5.5's Event Wishes, you'll have the chance to pull for Varesa and Iansan, along with reruns of Xianyun, Xilonen, and Venti. Dive into the excitement of these new additions below.

The Bloomflower Trials Are Making a Comeback

In this update, you'll encounter Mavuika, Ifa, and other Natlan allies to aid a sick Saurian. Engage in the "Saurian Treasure Seeker" mini-game, where you'll guide baby Saurians through obstacles to collect treasures. By participating in the event, you can invite Ororon for free.

For those seeking a challenge, a new boss, the Lava Dragon Statue, awaits in the volcanic fissures. You can download the game from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in this massive update once it's released.
