Mesopotamian Point-and-Click Adventure Unveiled for May Release

Jan 16,25

Unravel the mystery of your father's disappearance in "My Father Lied," a captivating point-and-click adventure game launching May 30th!

Ahmed Alameen, writer and filmmaker, presents his debut title: a narrative-driven puzzle adventure drawing inspiration from Mesopotamian history. Step into the shoes of Huda, a young woman who, after discovering a long-hidden brother, embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind her father's vanishing twenty years prior.

Originally a collaborative project, Alameen took the reins, mastering game design to complete the game solo.

Explore intricately designed environments using classic point-and-click mechanics. Piece together images, decipher codes, and solve a series of puzzles within hauntingly beautiful settings. Alameen cites Myst, Heaven's Vault, and the works of H.P. Lovecraft as key influences.

Employing a unique blend of 2D and 360-degree imagery, including hand-crafted cutscenes, Alameen achieved high-quality visuals optimized for even low-spec PCs.

"My Father Lied" arrives on May 30th on App Store, Google Play, and Steam for $10.99/€. Add it to your Steam Wishlist now! Mobile pre-registration isn't yet available.
