HoYoverse has unveiled the exciting details for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6, titled 'Among the Forgotten Ruins,' set to launch on March 12th. This update promises to shake things up in New Eridu with a rich narrative and new characters that will keep players on the edge of their seats.

What’s Happening in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6?

In this update, Proxies find themselves embroiled in a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the Mayor, who has them scrambling to secure a mysterious artefact tied to the Sacrifice. However, the phantom thief syndicate, Mockingbird, is determined to throw a wrench in the Mayor's plans. Other factions are also in the mix, eager to prevent the Proxies from claiming the prize. Amidst this chaos, characters Hugo and Vivian exhibit suspicious behavior, leaving players to ponder their true allegiances. Dive deeper into the story with the official trailer below.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6 introduces a new unit, Anby Demara, who transitions from her former role as Soldier 0 and leader of Silver Squad to an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent. With her dual swords, she's ready to unleash powerful Electric damage. Joining her is Trigger, an ace sniper from Obol Squad, stepping in as an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent. Trigger's ability to enter Sniper Mode allows her to dodge attacks and take precise shots, setting up her teammates for Quick Assists.

Some Are Making a Comeback

Returning characters include Pulchra Fellini, an A-Rank Physical Stun Agent from the Sons of Calydon, alongside S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent Burnice and S-Rank Ether Attack Agent Zhuyuan, who will have their rerun banners. Additionally, Geppetto enters the fray as the latest boss in Hollow Zero.

The update also introduces new challenges with Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge, designed to test your skills to the limit. The new Hollow Zero gameplay mode, Shadow Operation, adds special effects to each battle stage, enhancing your damage based on accumulated coins. Trigger's TV Schedule brings third-person sniper gameplay, allowing players to engage in actual sniper missions. Meanwhile, 'March On, Tiny Titan!' lets you control a Bangboo drone for unique challenges, and 'Little Knight's Big Charge' offers ten different trials with rewards like Pulchra as a playable agent.
