Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves

Morph Painting restoration involves strategically placing paintings onto designated pedestals. Examine the pedestal descriptions, locate the matching portrait, and utilize the Levitator tool (accessible via Tab/D-Pad Left) to position the painting correctly. The game usually auto-equips the Levitator, but manual selection is always an option. Currently, two such puzzles exist, integrated into the "Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise" and "Trials of Old" quests.

Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle

Within the "Shadows of the Past" questline, this puzzle resides in Resounding Rise (one of the three Thorncrown - Thessaleo Falls towers). Solving it requires these steps (using the central painting as a reference):

1. Swap the front-left and back-right paintings.
2. Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left pedestal.
3. Move the painting behind the right-side chairs to the front-right pedestal.

Upon completion, a chest will appear, unlocking further quest progression.

Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle

This puzzle is part of the "Trials of Old" quest, involving four trials near Porto-Veno Castle in eastern Thessaleo Fells. Located within the Trial of Wisdom, it demands arranging paintings on pedestals to create a sequential narrative from left to right. The solution is depicted in the image above.

A simple method to verify correct placement is observing the painting frame's illumination upon successful insertion. This visual cue streamlines puzzle completion.
