When it comes to new releases, we here at Pocket Gamer often make first contact in unusual ways. Be it a new release suddenly going on a media blitz, or their first major update putting them on our radar. But with Webzen's upcoming idle RPG MU: Pocket Knights, I think this is the first time we've had news of a *logo* being our first contact!

Now, jokes aside, MU: Pocket Knights is interesting for many more reasons than a snazzy new eye-catching logo. Because, as you might have guessed, this is a spin-off of the ever-popular Korean RPG MU: Online that finally takes the action to the realm of the idle RPG.

MU: Pocket Knights is set to combine the laid-back levelling and engagement of the idle genre with what many fans have come to expect from MU: Online. That being a depth of content and character-building that rivals traditional MMORPGs, but in the idle realm.

Is that a knight in your pocket?

MU: Pocket Knights isn't going to be some intimidating task for new players to engage with either, as this spin-off boasts a whole new cast of adorable characters. Meaning that die-hards of MU: Online won't have to see their favourites chibified, and newcomers won't be confused by who all these folks are.

Right now, information is a little thin on the upcoming launch. But Webzen are set to join an increasing number of developers in pushing for a full global launch (excluding certain regions) from the get-go. Stay tuned, and we'll keep you updated as we find out more!
