Alien Movies in (Chronological) Order

1. AVP: Alien vs. Predator (2004)

The story of the Xenomorphs begins chronologically with the first of the two crossover films, AVP. Set in 2004 and directed by Paul W. S. Anderson, this film brings to life the "battle of the titans" concept from a 1989 comic. It reveals that Predators, known as Yautja, have been visiting Earth for millennia, with ancient cults sacrificing themselves to a Xenomorph Queen's brood—facehuggers—to create adult Xenomorphs for the Predators to hunt as their ultimate prey. As expected, the 2004 hunting trip doesn't go as planned.

2. Aliens vs Predator: Requiem (2007)

Set in modern times, Aliens vs Predator: Requiem picks up immediately after AVP. A hybrid creature known as the "Predalien" terrorizes a small Colorado town, prompting a veteran Predator to intervene and clean up the mess.
