Warzone Mobile Ends Global Service
- Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is being removed from the App Store and Google Play Store
- Online services will remain accessible for the time being
- You can transfer your remaining COD Points to Call of Duty: Mobile
After barely a year on the market, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is being discontinued. Activision has confirmed that the mobile version of the popular battle royale game will no longer receive seasonal updates or new content. The app has been removed from digital storefronts as of May 18th. Real-money purchases have already been disabled, and players who haven't installed the game by the cutoff date will permanently lose access.
This decision marks an abrupt end for a high-profile mobile release that aimed to deliver the complete Warzone experience to mobile audiences. While the developers expressed pride in how accurately the game replicated the Warzone experience on handheld devices, it reportedly failed to resonate with mobile players as strongly as it did with PC and console audiences.
If you already have the game installed, you can continue playing online after May 19th. Matchmaking and online services will remain operational for now, though social features have been disabled. There's no confirmed timeline for when servers will be completely shut down. The in-game store remains accessible for players with existing COD Points, but no new purchases can be made.

As a consolation, players with remaining COD Points can redeem them in Call of Duty: Mobile. Through August 15th, logging into Call of Duty: Mobile with the same Activision account will grant double the value of your unused Warzone Mobile COD Points, along with additional bonus rewards.
For those who haven't installed or reinstalled the game by May 19th, this is your final opportunity. After this date, no refunds will be provided and the game will become completely inaccessible. This disappointing conclusion to what was promoted as a major expansion of the Warzone universe serves as a stark reminder that even the most established franchises can't guarantee long-term success in the mobile gaming market.
