Warframe: 1999 Unveils Techrot Encore Release Date, Adds New Content and Characters

Apr 19,25

The excitement is building as Warframe's 1999 expansion continues to captivate fans, and now, the much-anticipated Techrot Encore update is set to launch on March 19th. This update brings a nostalgic turn-of-the-millennium vibe with its series-standard action, and it promises even more thrilling content.

Techrot Encore introduces four new Protoframes: Flare, Minerva, Kaya, and Velimir II, expanding the roster of characters available to players. Alongside these additions, the 60th Warframe, Temple, enters the fray, equipped with Techrot Subwoofer minions and a sentient guitar named Lizzie, adding a unique twist to combat.

For those seeking a challenge, Techrot Encore offers two new endgame stages. In Stage Defense, players defend Scaldra during a memorial show honoring fallen comrades amidst Scaldra's takeover of the city. Meanwhile, Temporal Archimedea challenges players to team up with Minerva and Velimir II, tackling three consecutive random missions with the Peely Pix system, which dynamically adjusts modifiers for each mission.
