WoW Patch 11.1: Unused Bronze Celebration Tokens Auto-Convert to Timewarped Badges

Patch 11.1 of World of Warcraft will automatically convert any remaining Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch launches.

The WoW 20th-anniversary event, which concluded on January 7th, offered players numerous Bronze Celebration Tokens used to purchase revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary collectibles. Any surplus tokens could be exchanged for Timewarped Badges, the currency for Timewalking events. Blizzard confirmed these tokens would not be used again.

This automatic conversion ensures players won't be left with unusable currency. The conversion will happen automatically upon logging in after Patch 11.1's release. While a specific release date is unannounced, February 25th is a strong possibility, given the timing of other in-game events (Plunderstorm and Turbulent Timeways).

This means the conversion will likely take place after the second Turbulent Timeways event concludes. Timewarped Badges can be used in various Timewalking campaigns, and none of the rewards are being removed, allowing players to save their badges for future events.
