⚫︎ Developer Bad Guitar Studio has exciting news for console gamers: FragPunk is set to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on April 29. Initially released for PC via Steam on March 6, the free-to-play 5v5 hero shooter had its console release delayed to ensure optimal performance. The upcoming console versions will feature cross-play, allowing seamless gameplay across all platforms.

⚫︎ On March 18, FragPunk introduced a significant balance update without any server downtime. This update boosts overall movement speed, refines footstep audio effects, and fine-tunes weapon and Lancer ability balance. To enhance fairness, the “Hide your name” feature has been disabled as part of anti-cheat measures. Additionally, numerous gameplay and UI bugs have been fixed.

The issue surfaced during compliance testing for Xbox and PlayStation, leading to a postponed launch to guarantee a uniform gaming experience across all platforms.
