The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Buffer Weight Stock attachment is causing some weapons to become overpowered, but it's not easily obtained. Here's how to unlock and equip it.

Unlocking the Buffer Weight Stock

The Buffer Weight Stock in Black Ops 6.

Unlike most attachments earned through gameplay, the Buffer Weight Stock is unlocked via the in-game "The Hit List" event. Access the "Event" tab in the Black Ops 6 Multiplayer main menu, then navigate to the "Community" section. The Buffer Weight Stock will be available for unlocking; simply viewing the page unlocks the attachment, as the community goal (8 billion eliminations) has already been achieved.

Equipping the Buffer Weight Stock

While unlocked, the Buffer Weight Stock's use is limited to just three weapons: the XM4 Assault Rifle, the DM-10 Marksman Rifle, and the XMG Light Machine Gun. This powerful attachment significantly improves accuracy, making it highly effective in Multiplayer. Its restricted use prevents it from dominating the game.

To equip it, navigate to the Gunsmith for one of the eligible weapons. Select the "Stock" attachment slot and choose the Buffer Weight Stock. Now you're ready to take advantage of its accuracy boost and contribute to unlocking further rewards in The Hit List event.
