Another week, another whirlwind of changes in the Pokémon TCG market as we eagerly await the release of Destined Rivals. Thankfully, the preorders for Black Bolt and White Flare at the Pokémon Center went smoothly, dodging any bot-related chaos.

This week's most significant drop is Greninja ex 214/167, which has plummeted by nearly half its value since the start of the year. We're also witnessing price reductions across the Obsidian Flames and 151 sets. On the flip side, Dragonite V from Evolving Skies is experiencing a surge, almost doubling in value, and its artwork has always been a hidden gem.

Charizard V Alt Art continues to impress with its dynamic battle scene against Venusaur, steadily increasing in value. Meanwhile, Rayquaza VMAX Alt Art is skyrocketing, gaining an additional $100 since the beginning of the year. Let's dive into the week's top Pokémon TCG risers and fallers.

Pokémon Card Crashes

As Sword and Shield era cards begin to climb, Scarlet and Violet series cards are returning to more grounded prices.

Alakazam ex SIR from 151 is a stunning card, now 34% cheaper than at the beginning of March. It's a must-have for any collector this year.

Charizard ex SIR from Obsidian Flames is undeniably cool with its stained glass Tera form. While it hasn't dropped much since March, every dollar saved counts.

The biggest crasher this month is Greninja ex SIR, which was once poised to be the priciest Scarlet and Violet card. However, Prismatic Evolutions shifted the market dynamics. It's still a formidable card at $275, a far cry from its $411.62 price tag at the end of February.
