Stellar Blade Update Causes Critical BugsDevs Now Working On Quick Fix

Stellar Blade’s Patch 1.009 update not only introduced the much-anticipated Photo Mode and NieR: Automata collaboration DLC, but some critical bugs as well. Players have reported that when attempting to continue a specific main quest story in an earlier dungeon, they were softlocked from progressing. Others have also shared that they were experiencing game crashes when using the selfie cam in the Photo Mode, as well as the new cosmetic items not displaying correctly when worn on Eve.

Rest assured, developers Shift Up are now working on a hotfix patch to address the issues. They have recommended players to avoid forcing quest progression and instead wait patiently for the hotfix update, as trying to circumvent it may cause your game to be permanently softlocked even after the fix is applied.

NieR: Automata DLC and Photo Mode

Given the game's stunning visuals and captivating characters, many players desired personalized character snapshots. Shift Up fulfilled this request, adding Photo Mode in the latest update. As announced, Photo Mode lets players pose protagonist Eve and her companions. New photo challenges further utilize this feature.

Along with Photo Mode, Eve receives four new outfits and a new accessory (after completing a specific ending) altering Tachy Mode's appearance. A "No Ponytail" option enhances Eve's customization. Further improvements include lip-sync support for 6 additional languages, enhanced projectile auto-aim and bullet magnet functions for the instant death skill, and various bug fixes for improved gameplay.
