Acquiring the Cavalier Sniper Rifle

The Cavalier Sniper Rifle is located within the Duga base, near the Military Unit. Specifically, it's hidden inside a warehouse connected to a greenhouse. If you've previously retrieved the Journalist stash from Duga, accessing this area should be straightforward via the secondary entrance.

Accessing the Warehouse

Upon entering Duga, navigate towards the Military Unit building (marked on your map). You don't need to enter the building itself; instead, circumvent it to reach the greenhouse at the rear. Be wary of two Pseudogiants patrolling this area; they'll attack on sight. Approach the greenhouse cautiously to avoid a confrontation.

Proceed through the greenhouse into the warehouse. Prepare for a swarm of rats upon entry; they'll inflict damage quickly. Utilize the elevated green platforms at the back of the warehouse for cover. A grenade is recommended to swiftly eliminate the rodent infestation.

Retrieving the Cavalier

After clearing the rats, focus on the warehouse ceiling above the greenhouse entrance. You'll spot yellow-painted wooden boards. Shoot these boards with your weapon to dislodge the Cavalier sniper rifle, which will fall from above.

Secure the weapon and safely exit Duga. The Cavalier can be further upgraded by Screw, the technician at Rostok base. Its high damage and accuracy are further enhanced with upgrades and modifications.
