S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 creators shared their plans for the 2025
With the new year just around the corner, GSC Game World has shared its plans and promises for the future of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise. The developer's New Year's message outlines ongoing improvements and future content for both S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 and the classic trilogy.
For S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, the focus remains on refinement. A significant patch (1.1) addressing over 1,800 bugs was recently released. While new content is currently limited, a roadmap detailing upcoming additions is anticipated in early 2025.

Fans of the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy will also be pleased. A next-gen patch for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zone collection on consoles is in the works, although specifics are yet to be revealed. Further updates for PC versions are also planned, likely incorporating modern enhancements to the classic titles.
GSC Game World encourages players to enjoy the holiday season by playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, whether starting anew, continuing their adventure, or finally reaching the end.
