Marvel's Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, the Disney+ animated series chronicling Peter Parker's freshman year, has received early renewals for both Seasons 2 and 3.

Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios' head of streaming, television, and animation, revealed in an interview with The Movie Podcast that Season 2's scripts are complete, with storyboards already half-finished, even before Season 1's premiere on January 29th. Season 3 has also been greenlit.

Winderbaum expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "I've fallen so head over heels in love with these characters...we're halfway through the animatics." He highlighted the show's carefully crafted narrative, emphasizing the payoff for viewers invested in the characters' development throughout the series. He anticipates this connection deepening across subsequent seasons.
