Sinners Hits $350M Global Box Office, Goes Digital

Oct 28,25

Ryan Coogler continues his winning streak. As Eric Goldman noted in his IGN review: "After demonstrating mastery in boxing dramas and superhero films, Coogler ventures into horror with the vampire period piece Sinners - and remarkably, excels at this genre too." Premiering April 18, the film has achieved both commercial success and critical praise.

While we strongly recommend experiencing Sinners on the biggest screen possible (Coogler himself explains why), theatrical viewing isn't always feasible. For audiences preferring home viewing, the vampire thriller is now available for digital rental or purchase.

Sinners Releases on Digital Platforms

Sinners

Twin brothers seeking refuge from their troubled past return home, only to confront a terrifying evil awaiting their arrival. Available now on Prime Video.

The digital release arrives approximately six weeks post-theatrical debut. Compared to recent films like Warfare (4 weeks) and Snow White (8 weeks), this transition reflects current industry trends without diminishing the film's achievements. For an original concept in 2025, six weeks of theatrical exclusivity represents significant success.

Financially, Sinners has outperformed expectations. With a $90 million production budget (substantial for horror), the film has grossed over $350 million worldwide according to Box Office Mojo, ranking as 2025's eighth highest-grossing film - particularly impressive for an R-rated original horror still in theaters.

Streaming Release Details

As a Warner Bros. production, Sinners will eventually stream on HBO Max. Based on recent WB release patterns (like Mickey 17's 3-month window), we anticipate a mid-July streaming debut, though continued theatrical success could delay this.
