Celebrate 25 Years of The Sims with Legacy Collections!

EA and Maxis are throwing a fantastic anniversary party for The Sims franchise's 25th birthday! Both The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 are back on PC via newly released Legacy Collections and a special birthday bundle.

Announced today, The Sims: Legacy Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection are available for individual purchase or bundled together for $40 in The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle. These comprehensive collections include nearly all expansion and stuff packs for each game. While The Sims 2 collection omits the IKEA Home Stuff pack, it still offers a substantial amount of content. Both collections even include bonus content: The Sims 1 receives a Throwback Fit Kit, and The Sims 2 gets a Grunge Revival Kit.

This marks a significant return for these classic titles. The Sims 1, originally released only on disc, has been unavailable for years to those without physical copies. The Sims 2, while previously offered in an Ultimate Collection, was later removed from digital storefronts. Now, with these Legacy Collections, all four main Sims games are readily accessible digitally.
