Dive into the thrilling world of *R.E.P.O.*, a cooperative horror game where up to six players team up to navigate through various maps, retrieve valuables, and escape safely. To ensure your progress is secured and your efforts aren't lost, here's a detailed guide on how to save your game in *R.E.P.O.*.

How To Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.

There's nothing more disheartening than returning to your game only to find your latest progress hasn't been saved. This issue is particularly common with new releases, where autosave features might not be as intuitive, and manual save options can be elusive or non-existent. In *R.E.P.O.*, understanding the save mechanics is crucial to avoid losing your hard-earned progress.

The key to saving in *R.E.P.O.* is completing the level you're currently on. The game autosaves only when you successfully finish a level. There's no option for manual saving, so if you exit during a retrieval mission or die, which sends you to the Disposal Arena, your progress will be lost, and you'll have to start that level over. Remember, death in *R.E.P.O.* results in the deletion of your save file, and exiting mid-level means you'll need to restart from the beginning of that level.

To save your game, you must complete the level by delivering your valuables to the Extraction Point. After that, you need to enter the truck or find your way back to it and press the message button above your head to signal the Taxman, your AI boss, that it's time to head to the Service Station. At the Service Station, you can shop for necessary items and then use the same button to proceed to the next level.

Once you leave the Service Station and arrive at your next location, it's safe to exit to the main menu or quit the game. When you or the host (if another player created the original save file) restarts the game, you can jump back into *R.E.P.O.* and continue from where you left off. It's important to note that the host is responsible for exiting at the correct time to ensure the game saves properly. When the host quits, all other players will be disconnected.
