TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free), slated for release next year, will be available on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title aims to seamlessly integrate the turn-based combat of its predecessor with roguelite mechanics, creating a highly replayable monster-catching experience. The Steam page highlights features such as 10 dynamically changing biomes, 7 unique playable characters, over 130 monsters, and much more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:

The original Coromon is a free-to-play mobile game. It will be interesting to see how Coromon: Rogue Planet performs on mobile and whether its release coincides with the Switch and Steam versions. You can add Coromon: Rogue Planet to your Steam wishlist here. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds incredibly appealing. Based on the Steam screenshots, it appears perfectly suited for short bursts of gameplay. In the meantime, you can download the original Coromon for free on iOS here. What are your initial thoughts on Coromon: Rogue Planet? Have you played the original Coromon?
