How To Rob Vaults and Cases Alongside the Fortnite Community

Mar 17,25

Embark on a thrilling heist in Fortnite's Chapter 6, Season 2! Outlaw Story Quests have a new twist: a Community Quest to acquire the Outlaw Keycard. This unlocks new areas and services, but first, you and the Fortnite community must rob Vaults and Cases.

The midseason update introduces the Outlaw Keycard challenge, a collaborative effort. The keycard’s rarity increases with completed quests, granting access to exciting new content. However, the next Story Quests are locked until this community challenge is finished.

The process involves raiding Vaults and Cases in Battle Royale matches, similar to past collaborative boss battles like the Doctor Doom event. Unlike those events, this Community Quest requires community participation; individual efforts won't significantly impact the progress bar. Early testing shows solo vault robberies don't move the meter, highlighting the collaborative nature of this challenge.

The extensive time required is underscored by the two-week delay before the next Outlaw Quests (March 25th). This suggests Epic Games anticipates the community quest taking a considerable amount of time, potentially a week or more. While this might be frustrating, players can still enjoy the newly released Golden Gunslinger Quests in the meantime.

So, join the heist! Rob Vaults and Cases with your fellow players to unlock the Outlaw Keycard and continue the Outlaw Story Quests. For more Fortnite news, check out our rumored collaborations for the Lawless season.

Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
