Reviving Teammates in R.E.P.O.: A Guide
Playing games with friends can elevate the fun to a whole new level, but what happens when someone becomes the weak link? In *R.E.P.O.*, the game's design allows squad members to take turns being the one in need, given the challenging nature of the monsters. Here's how you can revive your teammates in *R.E.P.O.* after they've been taken down.
What To Do If a Teammate Dies in R.E.P.O.
When you start a round in *R.E.P.O.*, your health bar is full at 100. You can lose health from monster attacks or even from your own items like Human Grenades. To regain health, you can use Health Packs found at the Service Station. Additionally, teammates can share health by approaching another player and interacting with their health bar—a feature that adds a unique layer of teamwork to the game.
Despite these measures, the monsters in *R.E.P.O.* can sometimes overpower you, leading to a teammate's demise. When this happens, you have two revival options. The first involves picking up the fallen teammate's head, which drops to the ground upon death. Keep an eye on where your ally falls, or check the map, which marks the head's location with a small icon matching their character's color. However, retrieving the head is just the beginning.
Where To Revive Teammates in R.E.P.O.
Once you have the head in your inventory, make your way to the extraction point. Place the head on the point, and if you've met the round's loot requirement (visible at the top right of your screen), your teammate will respawn with 1 HP. They can then regain more health by entering the truck, ready to rejoin the fight.
If you can't retrieve the head, don't worry—there's another way. Starting a new round will automatically bring back your fallen teammates, similar to the round-based revival system in *Call of Duty* Zombies. While this means you'll be at a disadvantage for the remainder of the current round, it can be beneficial, especially for newer players. It gives them a chance to observe and learn from more experienced teammates without being thrust into a difficult situation right away.
And that's how you revive teammates in *R.E.P.O.* For more tips, check out what Energy Crystals do in the game and how to acquire more.
