2026 Release Date
During the February 2025 State of Play, Housemarque presented Saros, a new game destined for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro. The anticipated launch is slated for 2026. Building upon the exhilarating gameplay of Returnal, Saros introduces a fresh narrative centered around Arjun Devraj, portrayed by actor Rahul Kohli.
Evolving Gameplay: Come Back Stronger
According to Housemarque's creative director, Gregoy Louden, Saros was conceived to allow Returnal to stand independently and to establish a new IP. While retaining the essence of Returnal's storytelling and mechanics, Saros introduces a unique twist: permanent and evolving loadouts. Players will develop their arsenal of weapons and suits, embodying the game's "Come Back Stronger" philosophy, enabling them to overcome challenges and ultimately triumph.
