Conquer Kupolovrax in Project Tower: A Comprehensive Boss Guide

Kupolovrax, a formidable boss in Project Tower, presents a significant challenge due to its relentless projectile attacks. This guide outlines effective strategies to overcome this enemy and emerge victorious. While targeting its illuminated segments seems intuitive, attacks directed at its carapace also inflict damage.

Phase 1

Initially, Kupolovrax remains stationary on the platform. Maintain a safe distance, continuously fire upon it, and employ these evasion techniques:

  • Orb Ring Fall: Dodge roll just before the descending orb rings impact. Look up to anticipate their trajectory.
  • Orb Scattershot Fall: Strafe to easily navigate the scattered orbs. A dodge roll is a reliable backup for close calls.
  • Orb Line Push: This is the most demanding attack. The most effective method is to wait for the first line, dodge roll forward, and immediately dash forward to clear the subsequent lines.
  • Stomp: Simply jump over the shockwave; continue firing while airborne.

Phase 2

At approximately 66% health, Kupolovrax takes flight. Continue to maintain distance and fire while utilizing these strategies:

  • Orb Scattershot Fall: The slow descent of the orbs allows for easy avoidance by strafing and monitoring their fall.
  • Orb Ring Push: Hold your position until the rings are about to hit, then dodge roll left or right to evade them.
  • Orb Line Push: Similar to Phase 1, wait for the first line, dodge roll forward, and immediately dash forward. Alternatively, dodge roll to the side and dash in the opposite direction.

Phase 3

Triggered at around 33% health, Phase 3 resembles Phase 2 but introduces a modified attack:

  • Modified Orb Ring Push: This three-part attack consists of converging rings, followed by two rapid ring pushes, and finally, falling orb rings. Dodge roll left just before the initial rings, immediately dash right to avoid the quick pushes, then walk forward to clear the falling rings.

Master these techniques, and you'll be well-equipped to defeat Kupolovrax. Project Tower is available on PC and PS5.
