This thrilling development was confirmed on IO Interactive’s website, where they revealed that the game will delve into an entirely new narrative within the iconic Bond universe.

According to the developers, "Players will step into the shoes of the world's favorite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status in the very first James Bond origin story." This statement sets the stage for an immersive experience where players can live out the early days of Bond's career.

Back in October, IO Interactive's Head, Hakan Abrak, shared insights with IGN about crafting this fresh origin story for the legendary spy. He emphasized the unique approach they're taking, stating, "What's exciting about that project is that we actually got to do an original story. So it's not a gamification of a movie." Abrak's vision is clear: "It's completely beginning and becoming a story, hopefully for a big trilogy out there in the future. And equally important and exciting, it's a new Bond. It's a Bond we built from the ground up for gamers.
