The Pokémon Center Hiroshima is moving! It will temporarily close in March 2025 and reopen at a new location in April 2025. But before the move, get ready for the exciting launch of the Gyarados Plaza!

Pokémon Center Hiroshima Relocates; Gyarados Plaza Opens

Pokémon Center Hiroshima, open since June 2015, will close its doors at its current location on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building by the end of March. It will then reopen around April 2025 on the second floor of Ekie, the north exit of Hiroshima Station.

Simultaneously, the Gyarados Plaza by Pokémon Center Hiroshima will debut on March 24, 2025, on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza in the new Hiroshima Station building, Minamoa. This plaza, featuring large Gyarados-themed play equipment, promises a fun experience for visitors of all ages. Initially, reservations may be required to use the playground equipment; details will be announced on the official Minamoa website.

Current Pokémon Center Hiroshima hours are 10:00 am to 7:30 pm, Monday to Sunday.

Poke-lun TV Nationwide Event in Japan

To celebrate Poke-lun TV surpassing 1 million subscribers, Pokémon Centers across Japan (including Hiroshima, before its closure) are hosting a nationwide event. Fans can receive an original sticker by visiting a participating store and providing a password obtained from a specific Poke-lun TV YouTube video (posted December 19, 2024).

Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa will also feature special Poke-lun TV studio-style photo spots. The event runs from January 17, 2025, to February 16, 2025. This event excludes Pokémon Stores, Pokémon Center Online, Pokémon Cafes, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokémon Cafe.
