Tactical Adventures has released a free demo for Solasta 2, their upcoming turn-based tactical RPG set within the Dungeons & Dragons universe. This sequel to Solasta: Crown of the Magister lets players create a four-hero party and journey through the land of Neokhos, battling an ancient evil while seeking redemption. Expect significant freedom in exploration and decision-making, with choices directly impacting the narrative.

The demo includes core features from the original Solasta, such as tactical turn-based combat, extensive character customization, and dynamic NPC interactions. A helpful "Helpful Dice" mode, enabled by default, mitigates frustrating unlucky rolls, though this can be disabled for veteran players. Strategic use of the environment is key to victory, adding a layer of tactical depth to combat.

Players can enjoy the demo solo or with friends in cooperative multiplayer, similar to Divinity: Original Sin.
