Path of Exile 2 Endgame: A Comprehensive Guide to Delirium Events

Path of Exile 2 introduces four major endgame events within the Atlas map: Rituals, Breaches, Expeditions, and Delirium. This guide focuses on Delirium, a returning mechanic from previous PoE leagues, detailing how to initiate events, navigate the Delirium Fog, access the Simulacrum Pinnacle map, utilize the Delirium Passive Skill Tree, and maximize your rewards.

Understanding the Delirium Fog Mechanic

Delirium Mirror Icon Atlas map nodes offering guaranteed Delirium events are marked with a distinctive icon resembling the Delirium Mirror. To guarantee a Delirium event, place a Delirium Precursor Tablet in a Lost Tower.

Within a Delirium map, locate the multicolored, shattered-glass Delirium Mirror near your spawn point. Activating it initiates the encounter, shrouding you in a expanding circle of Delirium Fog. The Fog's difficulty increases as you progress; exiting the Fog ends the event and resets the map.

Enemies within the Fog are enhanced and drop unique rewards: Distilled Emotions (used in crafting) and Simulacrum Splinters (required for the Pinnacle Boss). Fractured Mirrors, when encountered, spawn additional waves of enemies and loot. Be wary of Kosis and Omniphobia, full-fledged bosses that may appear randomly.

The Simulacrum Pinnacle Event

Each endgame event offers Pinnacle Boss summoning items. High-tier Waystones in Delirium Fog yield Simulacrum Splinters. Accumulate 300 splinters to create a Simulacrum, which you place in the Realmgate.

The Simulacrum is a challenging 15-wave encounter with increasing difficulty. Delirium bosses have a higher chance of spawning in later waves. Completion rewards two Delirium Passive points.

Mastering the Delirium Passive Skill Tree

Delirium Passive Skill Tree The Delirium Passive Skill Tree, found within the Atlas Passive Skill Tree, modifies Delirium events. It features eight Notable nodes and eight nodes increasing Simulacrum difficulty. Each Simulacrum completion grants two passive points. Increasing Simulacrum difficulty is necessary to reach new Notable nodes.

Notable Delirium Passive Nodes:

Notable Delirium Passive Effect Requirements
Get Out Of My Head! 20% chance for Waystones to have an Instilled Emotion effect N/A
Would You Like To See My Face? Doubles Fog difficulty scaling, doubles Splinter stack size Get Out Of My Head!
You Can't Just Wake Up From This One Delirium Fog dissipates 30% slower N/A
I'm Not Afraid Of You! Delirium Bosses have 50% increased Life, drop 50% more Splinters You Can't Just Wake Up From This One

Prioritize "You Can't Just Wake Up From This One," "Get Out Of My Head!," and "They're Coming To Get You" for optimal rewards without significant drawbacks.

Reaping the Rewards of Delirium

Distilled Emotions Delirium Fog-affected enemies drop Distilled Emotions. Bosses also frequently drop them. These unique currencies anoint amulets with Notable Passive Skills, eliminating the need to spend passive skill points. They can also add guaranteed modifiers to Waystones, increasing mob strength within the Fog.

Simulacrum Splinters, also dropped by enemies, combine to form a Simulacrum for the Pinnacle event. Completing the Simulacrum yields Delirium Passive points and a guaranteed unique item.
