Palworld has rolled out a massive new update with version v0.5.0, introducing a host of exciting features including crossplay across all platforms. This update lets you store Pal data in the Global Palbox and transfer your beloved Pals between different worlds. The introduction of the Dimensional Pal Storage system offers 10 times the capacity of the regular Palbox, and it’s not just for guild members anymore. Now, you can use it as personal storage with private settings, giving you more control over your Palworld experience.

But that's not all—now you can change your character's appearance without affecting your armor stats through the new Cosmetic Armour System. Whether you want to look fierce or fashionable, the Antique Dresser is your go-to spot for a stylish overhaul. Snap those new looks with the newly added Photo Mode, accessible from the Pal Command Wheel, where you can hide the UI and maneuver the camera to capture breathtaking screenshots of your Palworld adventures.

For those who love to tinker and upgrade, the Drafting Table allows you to combine low-rarity blueprints to create higher-rarity ones. And if you're a Mac user, rejoice—dedicated servers are now available for you, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable gameplay experience.

Developer Pocketpair isn't stopping there; they're actively working on adding dedicated servers for the PlayStation 5 version, set to release sometime in the future. With a staggering 32 million players since its early access launch in January 2024, Palworld's popularity shows no signs of slowing down. The studio has laid out a content roadmap for Palworld's 2025, promising an "ending scenario" and a slew of new content for this beloved creature-catching survival game.

Launched on Steam for $30 and instantly available on Game Pass for Xbox and PC, Palworld broke sales and concurrent player records within a year. Pocketpair's CEO, Takuro Mizobe, admitted that the game's launch was so successful that the developer couldn’t handle the massive profits the game generated. In response, Pocketpair swiftly moved to capitalize on this success by signing a deal with Sony to create Palworld Entertainment, a new business dedicated to expanding the IP and bringing the game to PS5.

However, the road hasn't been entirely smooth. Palworld faces a lawsuit from Nintendo and The Pokémon Company, who are seeking "an injunction against infringement and compensation for damages," alleging that Palworld has infringed on "multiple" patent rights. In response, Pocketpair has provided an update, pinpointing the patents in question and adjusting how players summon Pals in the game. The studio remains steadfast, vowing to defend its position in court against Nintendo and The Pokémon Company.

・When connecting foundations or roofs, the connected pieces will now automatically align in the same direction

▼Balance Adjustments
・Adjusted elemental chest rewards. Dog Coins will always drop from these chests and they also have a small chance of containing work suitability books. (Existing chests in current worlds will retain old drop tables; new ones will follow the updated table.)
・Increased EXP gained from defeating the Attack Chopper
・Increased the DPS of Flamethrowers
・Adjusted the default attack used by Electric and Dark Pals when all active skills are on cooldown, making them more in line with the other elements
・Some human NPCs now have work suitability and work animations when assigned tasks at a base
