Jacques Audiard's Spanish crime thriller, Emilia Pérez, is a major contender, vying for Best Picture, Best Director (Audiard himself), and Best Lead Actress (Karla Sofía Gascón).

Wicked and The Brutalist closely trail with 10 nominations each, while Conclave and A Complete Unknown each secured eight.
